New Year Resolution

My Jeep

I loved it. I miss it. A silly piece of metal. Lots of memories made and secrets kept. Concerts with girlfriends. Road trips again with girlfriends. Shopping. Trips to Illinois & Wisconsin to see my family. Her 4 wheel drive could get me anywhere I needed or wanted to go and I wasn't afraid to drive her. Snow or mud didn't make me think twice. I could get through it , and I did! I created parking spots where there wasn't supposed to be, but when cars end up following me and park with me its ok.  She always started. I could count on her to take us to happy places or get us the hell of out there! After 276,000 miles she ended her run the way I'd love to...

Christmas

My favorite holiday. Hasn't been happy the last few years, but next year will be.
My kids made it a good day for me. I am blessed to have them.

My friend, Karen, went to Donny.com and ordered me things! How awesome it felt to open that and know someone  really cared enough to want to just make me giggle. I love her.

I have driven past this place a few times and always slow way down to look and dream. Yesterday I stopped and asked if I could take some pictures. (I'm not shy) I'm pretty sure this is my dream house. Small but big enough, hot tub, animals, country. Sharing it with someone I love would be the icing. Dare to dream...

This picture means so much to me. It's my closet. Mine. No-one's but mine. I have everything color coordinated and even subcatagorized by short sleeve, long sleeve, work, casual, dressy and ooh-la-la! Ya. It's a chick thing.

I still love! Who knew?! I thought I wanted an office desk job...I was wrong! Dont get me wrong, I love the days that I get to stay inside and get caught up on my paperwork, but I'd much rather be outside and driving the countryside. I hope this feeling continues to last a long- long time.
