Rockfest 2014

Ok, Going to try and start with the latest and work my way current =)

I got my job before Rockfest but only by a week or 2, so I'm going to start with Rockfest 2014

Of course my bestie and I went. Ryan and his girlfriend, Alisha, went also. I really like her. Hopefully they makeit. She's in her 8th year of college for psychology, finishing this year with her inteternship at a halfway house for women and children. Psychology! LOL Take THAT Kelly!

We knew the day was going to be warm so we dressed appropriately and then as soon as Ryan parked the Jeep, It started pouring! add that to the fact we were a mile away from the concert site. We hung out there in the parking lot under the lifted back, so the smokers could smoke, patooey, and wait for a break in the clouds. It stopped raining, the clouds parted and sun came back out and off we went. We walked to the grounds laughing and crowd watching all the way. Hell we were'nt even frisked so our flasks made it inside without a glitch. As we were waiting in a line, with a few hundred other people to get our t-shirts, it started to sprinkle. We were covered by a huge tree so it was kinda cool actually, till the skies opened! I unfolded the blanket I was carrying to sit on, and we, as well as some strangers, huddled under it. LOL. The line sure cleared quickly (wimps!) and we stepped right up and got our shirts. We decided to trek up a small hill to find a place to spread out and relax. We were drenched to the bone. We sat on the wet blanket. Didnt matter anyhow since we were wet anyway. The sun came out again and we baked all afternoon! I would'nt trade that day for anything though. It was Ryan and Alisha's first time, so they did the walking and watching and would call to see if we needed them to bring anything back for us. Ummm, now that you asked, sure! LOL! Karen and I didnt move from our spot all day. I hardly even stood up. LOL. I paid for that at the end of the day when I physically could not stand up. Ryan pulled me up, tucked my arm under his and led me out of the chaos. Karen and I both had to duck behnd a parked car pretty quickly to pee!  What a day!
